Problem with Kenwood ddx6019

Hello, I'm having a problem with my Kenwood ddx6019 install. The sound for the tuner works fine but the dvd/cd player only plays when the dual zone (so only out the rear or front speakers but not both) setting is turned on. The tuner plays in the single zone mode perfectly. When in the dual zone mode 1 of the inputs have to be the tuner or else nothing plays. it's really annoying. I just installed the system and I have been playing with the settings all week. Has anyone else had this problem? I;ve tried playing CD, mp3 cds and dvds and all play exactly the same. Thanks for any help you can give.

I had this system and never had that problem out of it. I can say that in the setting there are two areas for audio controls and zones and all of that, you might have to set the setting to both rear and front dvd, one might be on av or tuner for front and then dvd for back. Not sure but look in the settings well. Good luck. pm me if you need more help

Hey bro. Just call Kenwood customer service. The people there will save you a ton of time.

It's gotta be a setting on the deck that you're looking past.

Good luck.

Called them, they said reset everything to factory settings... DOH!!! I should have done that first. I'll try it out this evening. Again, Thanks for your help.

Reseting did not work, I spoke to another kenwood rep and they said I needed to connect the amp to the harness. I have no idea where the amp cables are in the dash. I know the amp itself is in the trunk but where should I connect the harness cables? Thanks!
