I just recently installed aftermarket HU to replace my 6 disc stock stereo in my 03 CL-S. I'm planning on keeping this car for at least two more years and this aftermarket HU will most likely stay with me. Would it be wise to sell my stock stereo just to make few bucks right now? When it comes to resale value, is it better to have my factory hu rather than aftermarket? If I should sell it, what would be a reasonable price?? It's in great condition. Thanks

 

I don't know the price, but I bet it's four figures from the dealer.

That's the kind of thing I always hang on to. If you want I will call my dealer parts dept. today and get a quote for ya.

You can get them online for $630.. That was the cheapest I saw..

Hold on to it.. They aren't easy to come by when you really need one.. And you never know what is wrong with it, since our radios/cd player is so inconsistent..
