Get a manual! There's a power wire on the small harness. (Or you could check for it with a multimeter.)

I would not even attempt to get power from the navi unit, any failure to the navi unit will be blamed on the power wire and the drive is in excess of 2k. I would just run an add-a-circuit from the fuse box with a new wire to doms unit, or tap the cigerate lighter.

you do if you want to run a video signal, ie: xbox. you don't need a dom's if all you want to do is use a backup cam.
