Sort of on this same topic, does anyone know if the subs(6x9's) use a mono signal or is it two discrete channels coming from the amp???

acuratsx03, Left-rear speaker + is pink, - is blue/yellow. Right-rear spreaker + is red, - is brown.

Tireguy, not sure if the 6x9 rear speakers are using a mono signal or not. However, they both have different wiring connections at the amp.

You need a high to low signal converter. Also remember that the 6x9 line have a built in high filter. So only low signals will pass through.

The higher frequencies are filtered out by the stock amplifier - since your signal comes from the stock amp, there is nothing on this earth that will "correct" the low pass crossover point - to be able to play with the frequency range you would have to grab the headunit signal BEFORE it gets to the stock amp (ie behind the dash) - you are pretty much stuck with what the stock amp gives you by using a LOC (that is what you used, right?). Anyway, good luck.
