Ive got a question about how good the following speakers were.

Polk PLK DB690
and
Polk PLK DB650

They are 6x9 and 6 1/2

Circuit City is running a polk special. Do any of you know how good these are? Or do any of you have them?

All Polk stuff is good, you cant go wrong especially if you can get a deal from an authorized dealer. Dont expect magic, but you wont be dissatisfied.

 

they are very good upper mid level speakers. I say that meaning that if you are running on a budget and can't afford the highest end speakers (kinda like me and most all people) than these are some really really good speakers. In fact I just put that combination in a car the other day, the 6x9's gave off better low end reproduction than I would have ever guessed, and the 6.5's are pretty clean. put a 50x4 amp and you will be really impressed.

 

Thanks for the input. Im not looking for anything spectacular, just a good bang for the buck set of speakers. Besides, im sure anything is better than stock. CC is having a good sale on those so I think ill grab em. Thanks for the replies!
