So ive been looking at the pioneer avic D-3 and everything seems good to me is there any kind of problems with it? or anything i should know about. i got a price quote from a place that will cost me 1250 for everything installed and what not...is that a good price, and im pretty sure i can try and bargain with them so that theyll go lower.

 

1250 doesn't sound like a good price on the outset to me, unless you can detail whats going into it, if it happens to be a lot.

The unit itself can be had for ~$700 pretty easily from various online vendors, so consider that in the cost. However, most retail shops cannot sell it to you for that low, and will only do the install if they also sell you the unit. Just food for thought.

 

yah i thought abt that just buyin it online i asked him how much install would be and they said that it would cost 100 + how ever much the kit is, is that a good price for just install?

 

Heck yes, $100 + kit price is a steal for an install.
