Picked up a pioneer app radio with the double din install kit and the wiring harness. Is there anything else I would need or anything special I need to know about installation of aftermarket radios in these cars? I'm used to working on my pontiac and this car is a whole different ball game. Putting a unit in my friends Audi was a nightmare...will this be as bad or are the acuras a little more straightforward? The car does have the bose sound system, what do I need to know about wiring this into the bose amp? Do I need a separate wiring harness or anything? Also do these systems have standalone subwoofers that I have to worry about or are they built into the rear speakers?

Looks like this...I think it'll blend pretty well with the rest of the dash.

 

as long as you have the right kit and harness its all pretty straight forward. the factory sub usually does not work after you removed the factory bose radio, but there is a way to keep it functional.

 

I've been thinking of putting the same HU in mine, let me know how you like it!

 

Did you end up installing it? I'd love to see pictures of what it looks like. About to pull the trigger on the new AppRadio 3 for my CL-S. Hoping I can get the steering wheel remote to still work but I kind of doubt that. Will bypass the parking switch.
