Pictures of Video Decoder

Ok everyone here is how easy the Pioneer RGB-1 modification is for video on the navigation system.

Kensteele, the navigation screen and decoder should go out today. Hopefully when Ken gets the screen he will like it and send me the $$ for it.

Cool. I wouldn't take the chance either because one wrong move and you could destroy the whole unit, right?

Anyway, I'll take more pictures and re-read Steve's instructions and point out the steps "VideoNavi for Dummies".

I'm due to get most of my stuff in on Monday, I already have the visor display and the DVD mounted in the rear armrest thanks to Streeteffectz.

I plan to put together the whole thing as a mini-documentary with pics and instructions all the way around for those who wish to do it themselves but are a bit intimidated by it all (as I was).

Ken, hope you like everything. I do wish to apologize for taking so long getting your stuff done and back to you, it's my fault for taking on more work than I can handle at one time. Thanks again for your business and patience.....post some pics when you are finished!

Henry,
I've been reading you posts and am quite interested in your Video conversion. I asked several WELL Known Shops and they said it couldn't be done. One shop Alan Graham motoring out in the San Fernando Valley said they did it but never showed me proof and wouldn't quote me a price. If you live in the OC maybe at the next show you could drop by and show me what to do. I am entering IMPORT SHOWOFF at Nisei Week in Little Tokyo August 12th. Or Hot Import dayz at Irvine in October. Hope you can help, Thanks , David

Where were you a week ago Mugen? Kidding, anyways I tore apart my system and sent everything except one of my monitors to Kensteele so he can check it out and post his video saga. I am in North O.C. so if you want to meet up sometime let me know, I can show you exactly what I did and if you have the RGB-1, I need one btw, I can show you exactly what I did.

Thanks Ron, no problem. I can't wait to get all of this equipment installed and operating. Unless someone else comes forward, I'll be the only mobile 3-screen DVD vehicle in the State of Kansas.
