Pac Aoem-hon20

Has anyone tried the PAC AOEM-HON20 for an aftermarket amp and OEM stereo. I believe it is 20 pin. I have no idea where it is connected to. It claims zero noise oem integration. Anyone tried it yet. I have a non differential amp and can't use mercman's harness. Alpine pdx-4.150

It arrived yesterday and it does work. My only problem is the C harness that connects from the factory harness to the stereo. The wire is loose at the female 20 pin side that plugs into the stereo and I have to shake the wire for sound to come out. I'm ordering the female side of the 20 pin and cutting and replacing it. The sound so far is clear with no background noise. Waiting for the harness and the new board for the HU because the button lights are out. I replaced the board the first time but after close examination there seem to be browning of the chip indicating a short. If you decide to take this route for aftermarket amp install on stock HU, order this kit, an extra 20 pin female side stereo extention, the civic harness for the speaker wires from the amp.

If anyone is interested in pics, I can take some when the parts come in.

chhimp,
I am thinking about getting the PAC AOEM-HON20 so I can replace the factory amplifier in my 2006 TSX (with Nav). How is it working for you? Is the sound quality good? Also, does it maintain the ability to fade front to rear using the factory head unit?

Thanks!
