Ordered my audio system upgrade

I am so siked to get my gear installed. StreetEffectz is going to make my car very happy.

Here's what I ordered. Special thanks to http://www.ampmanaudio.com for their suggestions. They really know their stuff.

Helix Precision HXA-500QS - 5 channel amp (60+4 + 150+1) Highly underrated amp. Makes amps with twice the performance sound half as good

CDT Audio HD63DT-S 6.5 coaxs. Going to try to mount them in the doors, but can separate the tweets and make them in to components

CDT MS100 sub 10" sub

Element Enclosures sub enclosure. Cool new design

Now the waiting game to get all my stuff. Wanna try to flush my amp into the pocket in the left side of the trunk, behind my CD changer. Going for the Stealth look.

Yeah BigMonkey,

They are so different from your normal run of the mill sub box.

Here's a pic for those that don't know what we're talking bout

Here's the single 10 that I ordered.

Neil,
That looks alot better than my sub's rear deck enclosure.

I have sound! So tight and crisp with huge highs and incredible detail compared to old. You won't be disappointed - the soundstage is off a bit but you know about that already. Next weekend gonna try again to rotate them vertical - gonna take lots of sanding on the back side of the baffle to get it closer. My only hiccup now is the stock remote signal doesn't have enough juice to pull in the coil on the accessory relay to enable both amps. It's some 40A Apex relay I got on sale at Parts Express. Got to order a smaller relay, so until then I'm gonna make up a fused jumper with alligator clips so I can easily disconnect it when I'm parked.

Bigmonkey,
the Elements Enclosure is a sealed box design. Make sure your sub(s) were designed to be used in a sealed box and if so, get the optimum CF and/or range size from the mfg to compare to the Elements enclosure size. Most subs are designed to play in a certain type of enclosure and a certain size. The Elements are $$ so do your research so your not disappointed.
