Opinions on Moodlogic??
Opinions on Moodlogic??
Anyone have any opinions on Moodlogic?? It looks like it's kick ass, and will add the ID tags to some of my ripped CD audio files.
Does it actually meet up to the expectation, and is it worth plunking down the 40$ for it?

Are you buying it to rip your cd collect??
If you are do a search for a program called Freerip MP3. I ripped my whole cd collect and it added all the ID tags at rip. The best part is that it is free!!

Well sort of...
Yes the main purpose will be to add tags to my Mp3 collection, I actually use a different program to rip it, it's just that I have some pretty rare stuff that I have ripped yet I can't find my CD's and don't want to manually enter the tags (I have already ripped these songs).
I have created a mix CD and unfortunately there is not Database app in the world (that I currently know of other than Moodlogic) which will query the songs and then put the name of the group/song/album in the tag.
I am hoping that Moodlogic will do this.

If you already have the CDs ripped. Then I'm pretty sure you will have to enter all the ID tags by hand. I don't know of any program that will. If that Moodlogic program does. Please let so know. It might be worth $40 to put ID Tags on my other mp3 files.
Thanks,

Well..
I was just playing around with Moodlogic and appears that it will add tags to about 75% of the songs, now the deciding factor is if the song has been put into the database for 'moodlogic' or not.
Looks very promising, but it requires that I play around with it a little more though. Initially it is free, and probably worth the initial preview

I was in a similar predicament. I had several songs ripped, but no ID3 tags for them. I found this freeware called Renamer that will modify the ID3 tags to your specifications. For example, I have separate folders for each artist, and then subfolders for the album title. Then within the subfolders are the songs. So what I did with Renamer was have it use the subfolder name as the album title, the parent folder name as the artist, and the mp3 filename as the song title. It then changed my ID3 tags all at once. If this sounds like what you need, it'll be well worth the download.
