Heard McIntosh makes one of the best amps, what do you guys think of this baby?

I'm thinking about getting this amp to run the whole system, it's a 6-channel amp (50X4 + 100X2), would this configuration work? Also, how much is it?

I have had 2 MC427 since about the time they first came out for mobile use which is 3 years ago. Had them in my Grand Prix and they were amazing. Never distort and very clean power. Just ran the power cable in my CL-S. Plan to finish up the rest later this week.

 

I am not familiar with that particular model of MacIntosh amp, but hey, Subaru Outback VDO's come with MacIntosh heads, spkr, and amps, and sub..They BLOW away the CL/CL-S systems. But of course, I don't wanna Subaru..just the kickass little sound system.

macintosh amps are relatively the highest quality amp made, although that means that they are maybe 3 to 5 percent better then the next best alternative. for example, an Xtant runs you 1000 dollars or the same power from macintosh is 2500 dollars, you do the math on which is a better deal.
