Tried doing a search but nothing specific came up. For those of you that install your navi video kit already, can you give me some tips on opening up the dash where to start. I really don't want to blindly open up too much stuff. Thanks guys.

 

if you wait till tomorrow i will have step by step instructions when i sell the navi-kits. I am doing my install tomorrow if the UPS guy gets my fm modulator here tomorrow

 

This might be a dumb question, but I wanted to test the decoder box outside of the car, so I hooked up the hot wire and the ground to a ac-dc adapter rated at 12V and 1.2 amp, leaving the accessory (remote) wire free, without any luck. I know it may have something to do with the accessory wire but since I do not know the concept of car installation how do I turn that decoder on....do I connect the accessory wire to ground as well?
