This is one of the best installs I have ever seen. I think the M3 RC Car body used to house the fuses is a nice touch. It's totally appropriate for a demo car, but like most of the rest of the car, it's out of place in a everyday driver. I know Steve Brown (one of the installers) owns the title on the car, but after what happened to the Legend he had, he probably doesn't drive this all the time.

But the F#1 components...I wouldn't mind having that setup...drool...

Very nice, but it's not a "everyday" car.

Regarding Steve Brown/Alpine's last demo car, the '88 Legend:

I talked to Steve Brown a couple years ago at a Vendor meeting, and he said he was eventually going to sell it and buy another demo vehicle (which would be the '95 M3). I later read in a magazine (CA&E, I think) that he sold the Legend, but they didn't mention if it went with or without the install. The Legend had a great install, but the M3 looks even better. What I really liked about the Legend was that the equipment, while expensive, was still comparable to a high-end system at the time; he said he spent thousands of hours in the install, which made the difference in the overall system. The M3, however, is perfect to demonstrate the new F#1 product.
