OK, TTY all on Monday
OK, TTY all on Monday
I'm off to Lost Wages, Nevada. My wife and her best friend bought Barry Manilow tickets 6 months ago (not for me - for her and her best friend...) and now we are off, at a personally very inconvenient time - since I don't gamble, I can't golf with my recuperating arm injury, and the House of Blues is holding a police and fire auction for charity Friday night (do I want to buy a fireman? No...)
So I will be gone - please be aware that I am not ignoring any posts or PMs, and I will return on Monday!

Well, I did have some fun, even though I hates Vegas.
I went to see Penn and Teller... second time in four years or so, worth seeing - they rock.
Saw a decent non-smoking comedy show at the Trop. Got some better food than I expected (the new West Wing rooms at the MGM Grand are very modern - small, but modern - and the new downstairs restaurants are sweeeet! They have like 8 top-line restaurants...I never did get to the steak place. )
And I actually spent $15 to go see the Impressionist paintings at the Bellagio. Mostly Monet. On loan from a museum in Boston, don't know when I'd get to see them again, interesting to see how Impressionism served as the bridge from traditional representative art to "modern" non-representative art... driven by photographic technology, of course, IMO... kind of like rock music being enabled by electric guitars, but not a directly parallel analogy.
Wrote my Cascade Audio order sitting at poolside Friday : ) Read some magazines, got an asymmetrical sunburn.
Anyway, VERY glad to be back, hope you are all well, and sorry I picked that one weekend to be out of town, Mader!
