AT some point when I feel like I'm finished with the exterior and engine, I'll go back to the stereo mods and probably rewire a lot of stuff.

BTW, sorry for all of the unrelated posts Ron. I'm still wondering if you have any creative ideas for the Ipod video. Thanks!
No problem at all As for the Ipod w/video, we can come up with something slick I'm sure

I wonder how far NJ is from Saskatoon. Might have to take a week off this summer and come visit y'all Streeteffectz.

Unless anyone knows of a place in Canuckville that does this particular mod.

If you want - you can send us your dash and the lower compartment and we can do the mods here in NJ and send it back to you - you just need someone to install it after that.

Unfortunately I've not even got the vehicle yet - one of those waiting for the '06s to come in - but I know I'll want this mod done. Sending the dash, at least the centre part, isn't really an option for me as it's gonna be winter and I'm selling my winter car so the tsx'll be my main ride.

If you have a writeup on how to do the mod and can provide all the parts and equipment needed I'd be willing to take it into a shop here and have them do it with all the goods I get from ya.

Hrm... google maps says it's about 1 day 15hrs from Saskatoon to your front door. 3,466kms!!! That'd be like a 3 day drive (driving about 15hrs a day) to get there. Definitely a summer thing if I go that route. Lemme know if you can give some instructions and maybe we can make this work!

I really would like to see pics too since i have a non navi 04 TL. Did you have to take out the oem stereo and make a dash kit? (which in most cases is uuugly)

is it possible to use the storage comparment below the oem radio for a flip out screen for nav and dvd movies? (appears to be deep enough but maybe not wide enough?)

only thing I have to point out is the way screen is positioned. At least from these pics, it seems that screen is positioned sorta upward. This way, i think you'll get more glare off the sun also it'll be difficult to look at the screen if you are somewhat shorter person. Just my two cents.

Hey, I am 5'5, not saying that I am short, but just my feedback on this since I have been using it for 2-3 weeks now. And so far, I think baboya96 is right about one thing, did not experience any problem with the glare from the sun, but I also did not have problem or difficulties looking at the screen with my height.
