Ohms

My friend is getting 2 subs that each are 4 ohms. They are 350watt max power so he was thinking about getting 1 1200watt, 2 channel amp to push them. Will this work well? What ohm will the amp need to be? Thanks!!

well it depends on how your friend chooses to wire the subs... figure out how the wiring will be done then match the rms of the subs with the rms power of an amp when run at the impedence that your friend decides to wore the subs to..

well he could run it at 8 ohms, or something in between using series-paralell wiring, assuming they are DVC subs... as i said, all depends
