official SPL recoded for my 2 10's

hey guy's i went to a local sound off today and got a SPL reading on my dual 10 power mouse.
i was only running a DEI 600 D rated at 400 watts @ 2 ohms
( each sub getting 200 watts out of a possible 1000 rms )
i hit 140.2 db measured at the windshield of my wifes 99 toyota 4 runner.
that means with the full rated power i should be at 146-148 db. next show im taking my dual 12 box and an 800 watt amp to see if i can break 150.

also at the show was an Escalade that had 4 15" MTX subs in a ported box running 1500 watts that only hit 147.
another ford explorer with 4 kicker L7 subs and i don't know how many watts using kicker amps took first place with a score of 150.2

i guess i did pretty well considering i was running less than 1/4 the watts and only 2 10's verses 4 12-15 " subs and 4 times the power

Define "homemade" they are made at TC sounds corp to my specifications. TC sounds is the same manufacturer that makes Eclipse subs. i have them custom built for my own patented sub boxes (power mouse) i designed , engineered and built these amazing boxes. they are computer designed compact bandpass boxes that offer excellent sound quality, small space and major SPL all in 1 small packace. they also have a plexiglas amp rack with neon graphics and removable covers.

That's not that impressive. I used to have an Explorer with four old MTX tens and only 400 watts total(100 a sub) and I hit 142.0 consistently.
And - I'm not sure that you would see that much gain from using the extra 600 watts without adding more subs.

apples to apples not a fair comparason i would like to see if you could hit that with only 2 subs. by using the laws of physics that would put you into the 130 range because adding or subtracting a sub with the same power applied will get you a 6 db difference. if you took out 2 subs you would be 12 db less.
so i would say it is still damn impressive for 2 10's

I didn't mean to bash the guy - it's just that I used to be into car audio competitions and I've seen some crazy stuff done with just two tens.

He designed his own sub...I'm pretty sure he knows what he is talking about...

BTW i just thought i would add. this was done at an elevation of almost 6000 feet above sealevel
at sea level i would expect to be able to get another 2-3 db
