An offer for members of this board.....

How many people would be interested in a full, semi custom system, say with Diamond components mounted in some custom kick panels, a diamond amp and sub w/a semi custom trunk (say a false wall, amp in the floor) at a sizeable discount from what we usually do the system for, INSTALLED? Of course, you'd have to come to my shop for the install, but it's something I've been thinking about and would like to offer to you guys.

I appreciate the oppurtunity to serve the Acurazine community - I have done business with several members of the board through the mail, and have done quite a number of installs, but would like to offer something "branded" if you will, unique to the members of this community.

And it doesn't necessarily have to be Diamond Audio equipment - it could be anything you guys want. I'd like to work with Ken (Elduderino) if you guys want DLS or ADS or anything else that he offers that I don't. I was thinking those brands, as well as Focal/Audison, Memphis, Alpine, JL, etc etc.

This seems like a GREAT offer, and I am supporting Ron on all our products that anyone needs. I am considering doing something similar for the Pacific NW members...

Ron has offered to have cars trailered up before... I'd ask him.

BoS, his work is great and priced very affordably (you can pay a LOT more for a lot less, trust me) - the question isn't whether the price is right, it is, the question is "what do you really want?" (remember that ecomomist's definition of demand is "something that you want AND are willing to pay for : )

Just as a "for instance" - for instance, we normally charge about $750 to do a PAIR of custom fiberglass kick panels - in this setup, I'd offer them at $500 for a pair. Say a custom trunk that would normally cost $1500 or so, we'd knock down to $1000. I'm talking about saving a significant amount of money on the install as well as the product.

We can definitely do that - when you say "sub enclosures" specific to acura, what did you have in mind? Something that's molded, say, into a corner or something like that? Or just a nice sub/amp combo in a box built specific to a certain sub?

I would like a molded sub enclosure that fits in one of the corners of the trunk for a TSX.

Is that something that can be shipped, or would a sub enclosure be for local pickup only?

There seems to be a good amount of TSX owners in this vicinity that would like to take you up on this special deals which is a good. Can you give me some ideas of what you can do for me and my set-up that I posted:

Well I have JL new tweets and new Rockford Fosgate woofers, So I would need and amp or 2 and new fronts and maybe a sub.

Can you price me out on new fronts, amps and maybe a subwoofer with install price included?

What kind of sub enclosure were you looking for?

Streeteffectz: How much for a sealed enclosure that is 1.25 cubic feet airspace and fits in the corner of the trunk in the TSX?

I'm uncertain about what kind of sub or where its located. I'm open for suggestions. A sub would be a secondary feature or an add-on. My main concern right now is adding a amp or 2 along with a pair of fronts. But if Streeteffectz has good prices I will get both done in one shot.

if someone w/ a CL-S goes there, and gets some kicks, i might be interested in having u guys make another set to ship here, as i don't think i can make the road trip

too bad it can't be completely custom to my car, but it should work rite? i'm not sure if there's a problem w/ the auto parking break on the driver's side tho w/ kicks, i haven't done too much research in that department yet...

I dunno, if I open up another store in Cali, would it be profitable? I don't know who's over there except for a couple big name shops.

If you open it up in the bay area, oh man every rice rocket would come to your shop. At least I think so, there are a bunch of shops around already, but I don't think they can compare to the costomized work you do. I guess maybe west coast customs? but they are in socal =P. Also your prices seem VERY affordable which is a plus since most of the people that go to these shops are high school / college students. Like myself =P

thats truu. but quality of work depends on people who work for you. your employees help create what the customer wants. there may be a demand in cali but street would have to hand pick skilled employees.
