Non bluetooth phone

I just bought a new TL. I have a non-bluetooth phone (Nextel I95cl) has anyone tried integrating one of the jabra earset adapters the enable your phone to handle bluetooth. Please advise?

I don't think it will work. Although they both use BT, the HFL in the car doesn't talk the same talk as the Jabra headset.

I bought a cheap t68i on ebay, and I just pop the SIM card out of my Blackberry for when I'm driving in the car.

I have a Blackberry from work, and it has a T-Mobile SIM inside. The Blackberry isn't BT, so I bought the t68i. I bought it without a service plan, I just bought the unlocked phone. By swapping the SIM I can use my work T-Mobile account with the BT phone.

I'm not familiar with Nextel, but if your phone is GMS/GPRS - then it should work. Important thing is that the t68 (or whatever) is unlocked - it's hard to find unlocked phones in the US except on eBay.

It won't work. Nextel is not GSM, I think they use CDMA. Isn't the SIM card in Nextel phones used for memory only?

Nextel has some bluetooth phones coming on the way. Motorola released some iDEN bluetooth phones but not to Nextel. Be patient, it'll come soon.

So I wonder if the SIM out of my T-Mobile Sidekick will work in a unlocked T68i?
