newbie-need cd changer advice
Hello.
I need some advice/recommendations. I need to purchase a cd changer for my 99 tl. My friend recommended an alpine but they are way too expensive. I just want a good player that will play cd-r's most importantly and one that is not too expensive and not bad quality.
Help Me

Welcome to the group.
True, the Alpine can be a bit much, but that's what I used to have in my 99TL. From my understanding the Alpine is the only component that will be compatible with your stock head unit...meaning you can control the CD-Changer using the stock head unit. With any other brand, you might have to use a remote....I know what you mean about needing a brand that will play CD-R's...don't worry, the Apline is fine. It plays CD-R's very well, no problems at all....
Good luck

i think you can try the usa-spec brand of changers...crutchfield and many online sites have them. the good thing, if you have a newer honda that requires an adapter with the alpine changer, is that it is plug and play (adapter already included!).
