Hey mon, I just checked out your gallery. Are any of those dash pics with the so improved backlight your car? Is so, where did you get the kit, how much, was it hard to install?

also, where can I get the original (uncensored) pic for the "Acura, think different" ad?

...and, to keep on subject, Nice Work with the metra kit! I finally found my previous post that said the same but wtf.

BTW, please post back in a month or so if you experience any discoloration on the metra kit. Seems to me that the 800 grit should do the trick unless the plastic is pourous. In that case, I may spray mine with some flat or satin clear.

I grew up in wisconsin, your pics reminded me of what life was like then. I live in Atlanta now. I'll stop complaining about the rain

Later
yea those are mindaglo gauges. i bought them from a member who got them from the group buy. im not sure where to get them any more. and no they wernt that hard to do, ya just gotta take your time.

heres the link to my unsensored version

as for the kit it should be fine, i tested different flats and satins and the sanded turned out to be a closer match. ill post back though

its official...if you have a NAVI, you can totally remove your stock HU and the only thing you will lose is the voice, everything else works fine.

Uh huh... cool.

So, back to my question...

will the Metra 99-7898 from crcuit city work or do I need to order the Metra 99-7868?

Are you stalking me OU? huh? Are you?

no the 7898 will not work, it is a generic honda multi-kit. but it doesn't include anything to work with 99 and up tl's. you need to get the 99-7868 specifically. it is the only metra kit available for those cars right now.
