Hey guys I just got a brand new Pioneer AVH-4200DVD. I'm currently trying to install it in my CL, this is the 3rd stereo I've installed on my own. The problem is I'm not getting sound to my speakers. The unit has power and functions great except I can't hear anything. I've checked and re-checked the wiring for the speakers and they look correct. Is there anything else that could be causing this problem? The only wires I have connected are the 2 power,1 ground, and the 8 for the speakers, and the parking brake one. The manual states that if the wires are connected correctly then turn the attenuator off but I have no idea how or what that is. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

Do you have the stock bose amp? If so you will need to wire up the blue trigger to turn on the amp

 

Also I think the deck has a feature that may turn off the amp inside. But that's just a guess. Its been a while since I have played with my 3200. BTW you should NOT have the bose EQ wired in if you are using an aftermarket deck.
