new head unit

i finally got my pioneer 9400mp installed today along with a 12 disk cd changer. i kept the navi voice by using the self powered alpine speaker. it mutes when it speaks and the voice is ok, but you can only hear it if the windows are closed. previously i had the speakers replaced with boston's, and a 10 JL sub put in the factory location, all controlled by a 5 channel amp and an eql, but now my audio is finally complete. all i have left is to add video when i can figure out how to do the gex mod. i will try to post pics soon

Where did you mount the speaker used for the Navi voice? I am thinking about a DVD head unit, but do not want to sacrifice the Navi voice?

What year is your car? I have an '03 and am wondering if I would also have to jury rig the OnStar as well.
