Does anyone here know when the new IVA-D900 is going to be avaiable?

Alpind probably won't releasde thier new stuff until atleast April...maybe even May

hehe........I'm waiting for that one too!

and this means I will also have to wait for a bypass box to play the dvd while the driving......

what aftermarket flip up dvd navigation system would fit in the huge space that the syystem already takesup. If one does fit would my steering wheel mounted stereo control still work?

alpine has a dvd navi that would fit the double din components.. as of right now i have the CVA-1006 and the DVA-5205... re: the IVA-D900... im always awaiting its release...

and no, ur wheel mounted stereo control would NOT work after an aftermarket HU is installed.

Not true. As long as the aftermarket HU has a remote interface (comes with a remote control) the steering wheel audio controls can be adapted for use with the unit. I believe Peripheral makes an adapter...

I heard that most companies that make wire harnesses are working on kits to make steering wheel volume controls work...atleast thats what my installer told me!
