need wiring advice with my subwoofers and amp.

hey guys so i have 2 Pioneer TS-SW3002S4

Pioneer TS-SW3002S4 Shallow-mount 12" 4-ohm subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

and a kicker ix 1000.1 amp

Kicker IX1000.1 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 1,000 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

wondering how i should wire these to get the most power out of them.

also thinking of getting a third sub of the same model. could anyone tell me how to wire the subs for both 2 sub and 3 sub options. im not professional but do know how to do it just want to make sure i do it rite. what i need help on is matching the power of the amp to the subs as far as wiring it to the rite ohms ill know how to do that once i know which to wire it too.

from what i see here in my un expert eyes is i can only wire 2 of these subs to the amp which will put it to 2 ohms if i put 3 subs itll drop it down to 1ohm and that amp cant handle that am i correct? so ill have to wire the subs in a parallel to the amp if im not mistaken.
