TL: Need USB input to stock radio
Need USB input to stock radio
Hi
I have a 2002 3.2 TL Type-S with the stock radio. I am quite happy with the way the Bose speakers sound. My CD player has gone bad and rather than fixing the CD player, I was wondering if it was possible to attach a USB to the stock radio such that I can play mp3/WMA files and also use the radio/steering wheel control to move back and forth the files. I don't want any IPod/IPhone connector since I don't own them anyway. Was just interested in adding mp3 support to the stock radio.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thx

This won't be possible unless you replace the stock radio with an aftermarket system. Or, you could go my route and go with the oldschool tape deck adapters that they sell at radioshack. It works fine for me, just isn't as modern as a usb
