I just got two 10 inch audio bahn subs and a 400 watt Rockford fosgate amp... i just need to buy some wires now... but im confused... does this amp need to connect to my stock head unit? i have a 03 CL-S 6mt... Can i not connect to the factory amp? or something... Im just confused... What exactly do i connect together and stuff? Do not know much about systems...

You will connect your new amp to the factory radio. If your amp has speaker level inputs, then you cnn hook the factory speaker wires from the radio to the amp. If it does not, you will need to use a line out convertor which will convert the wires from the radio to rca low level signals. You also need to then run wires from the amp to the speakers. Is that kinda what you are asking?
