That right, I am changing head units yet again. I just want some opinions on what you would do. My budget is right around $1200 with install, if I have to have it installed. Below is a list of the ones I am considering.


Eclipse AVN2454 (right at the top of my budget and a custom trim ring and possibly custom brackets to mount it would have to be made.

Eclipse AV3423 (single din, no problems with install myself)
Eclipse AV8533 (same as above with Dolby Digital)

Kenwood DDX7015 (double din, may need install for proper look and fit)
Kenwood KVT 715 or 815 (single din)


Pioneer AVH-P6600 ( best priced unit)

Clarion VRX-935 (no problems with install)

Blaupunkt Chicago (New unit getting great reviews)

If anyone has any of these units installed in your Second Gen TL, can you send them to me? All the units except the Eclipse are below $1k.
