just had a pioneer deck installed in my 2000 TL, and it seems like my rear speakers dont work anymore!??! what the hell do i do? i also have some 12s and an amp taht i want to install.....all i know from searching is that theres a hole in the firewall where i can connect, but what about the rear of the car? and how do i rewire the back subs

first of all, you should have gotten a harness that connects between the new Pioneer HU and the stock wiring. Maybe you didn't crimp/soldier the wires correctly as all the speaker, except the stock subwoofer should be working.

As far as installing an amp and subwoofers in the trunk; that requires you to run the power wire from the battery, through the firewall, under the doorsill and under the rear seat into the trunk. You will have remove the rear seat of the car and run the wires under them, into the trunk.

You also have to run RCA cables from your "pre-outs" of your HU to the amplifier in the trunk. You can either route the wires under the passenger side doorsills in the same manner as you would the power wire on the drivers sice, or you can run them directly under the shiftgate and the center console, under the carpet and under the seat.

You will also need to find a good place to ground your amplifier depending on where you install it.

i did get a kit...not sure about the harness...i still get sound from my front speakers...maybe i do get sound from the back ones, just no base

Oh cool! Yeah definately man, next meet is the SacTown Meet on Sept.17th. Hopefully u can make it, it is kinda tradition that after the meets we come to my place and install mods, so see if u can make it, i can install it for you if u want.
