Need help with voltage drop?

I've been having an issue with my dash mounted bass processor telling me one of my sub amps is disconnected when I don't hear any difference in SPL. I have two Alpine MRD-M500 digital amps running two JL 12W6v2's at 2 ohm's in sealed enclosures. I also have an RUX 4280 bass processor that allows complete access to both amps. This processor displays voltage at the amps as well as temperature and current. I was demonstrating my problem to a friend and when I turned the system up to about 4V at the inputs, the RUX displayed the signal that it was disconnected (no amp). My friend mentioned it might be a voltage drop. So, I turned it up again while viewing the voltage display and saw it go from 14.4V immediately down to 13.6V when the heavy bass hit.

I can't find any literature that supports these amps enough to answer my questions: 1)is clipping my issue. If so, is the clipping due to not providing enough rail voltage 2)I've got a 1.2 farad cap for a 1,500W rms (3,000W peak) system, is this the problem or is it my stock battery? 3)Should I get a cap that covers the peak wattage or rms? 4)I'll replace the battery anyhow, what size yellow top Optima's fit our cars (03 tls)?
