Hey after reading the post about the stolen headlights i am being forced to surface the idea of installing a shock sensor to the factory alarm. i was wondering if anyone with a helms manuel could tell me the locatiuon of the wire that triggers the factory alarm. does it use the dome light or is there another switch to set it off when the door is opened? i was thinking if it is the dome light i could install a diode in line with the factory wire and then trigger the alarm with a standard shock sensor or glass breakage sensor.
