need help on SNHOND3 install

I am doing an install tomorrow and i've seen that a lot of people took the casing off of the SNHOND3, should i take off the casing before i put it behind the storage bin? Will it fit if i leave it with the casing on?

Maybe I missed those threads but I dont remember anyone taking the casing off Most of the ppl I have seen install kept the casing on. My casing is on as well and I've had no problems...in fact I wold think that it would be worse without the casing.

fdl...this is one of the places i saw it without a case ( http://www.chrishorne.com/gallery/SNHOND3/P1010086 ), but if you left it on then i'm all set. Do i need to stick its somewhere in particular to get the bin to fit back in, or is there a lot of room behind it so it doesnt really matter?

all you need to do is pull out the storage area, get a light so you can see in there, and hook the wire up. There should be no problems with space, as i was able to put the storage thingy right back into place.

it fits easily enough with the case on... the only issue I had was placement so that RF intererence was minimal...
