Need help.... LCD screen installation

Sup y'all,

Well I need some help installing a LCD screen. The only thing I have is the screen and nothing else and the screen has a 6 pin din cable. Guessing the din cable has the power/video/audio cables rolled into the din cable. So what is needed to get it up and running? Do I need a modulator? If I do where can I get one? Thanx in advance...

If you guys are curious, it is a MA Audio 5" LCD screen

Is it just a screen or does it also have a Controlloer Board? A controller board is the green board with all the resistor, capacitor and components on it. If you don't have that, you can't run the Screen... I'm assumming it's a 6 pin ribbon cable? It sound like you don't have the controller.

AcuraTLFan,

Well its a MA Audio 5" LCD screen which you can see on their site MAaudio.com. The site has the newer model showing. Its a pre-built screen from MAaudio. I got it off of eBay, so thats why it only thing I got was the screen. From what I heard, I need a modulator from MA Audio to get it up and running but was curious if any electronic store (Radio Shack) would carry it. The screen has a din cable with 6-pins. Its for the audio/video/power. I just happen to get a screen thats doesn't have the usual RCA cables like Pioneer for example. Do you get what I am saying? Thanx....

P.s. I think I know what you are talking bout from your post. I wish I had the time to take on that project. eBay has some cheap Laptop LCD screens for sale which in fact needs a controller board for it to work.

On a side note: I got a PS2 in the car but the AC/DC invertor creates too much noise through the speakers. How much noise filters do you think I need to get to kill the noise? And do I install the noise filters on the power going to the invertor??? Thanx again...

I see..i get what your saying...i guess you could make the adpater. I don't know if radio shack will have the same connector part that you need...buy you could find them at online stores.

As for the noise filter...i don't know much about that.
