need help: JL 10W0
I am might plan on purchasing a pair of 10W0 later and just wondering which would be the perfect amp for these subs for the following brands: Kenwood, JL and Rockford. Please give me some other brand of the same price range

I've got a W0 and an Alpine 5-channel pushing it--along with the 4 front and rear speaks (aftermarket of course). Sounds great. The amp was only about 249.95$. Bought it from Crutchfield. Alpine MRP-F320. There's a higher model that's more powerful, but this one fits just right for quality bass that's loud when I want it to be, but nothing that's going to be heard 234 miles away.

after a few hours or research and to clear up some facts to make sure i am right. when an amp say 400 x 1 at 4 ohms, that means giving a sub 400 rms. 200 x 2 ohms means its can be stable in 2 ohms and that is how much each sub is getting (200 rms) when you hook up the sub in a special way which i forgot the term.. kinda like combing the subs (getting 2 ohms load) from the wire diagram i see. OR you can hook the subs independently to only get 100 x 2 at 4 ohms easier way and only if the 2 chnl amp you using can't handle 2 ohms...
