Need help finding a shop in the sacramento area for custom Audio. Any suggestions?
Hello TSXers,
I'm looking for a shop in the Sacramento/Davis, CA area that will be able to do the SNHOND3 modification for me as well as install a SIRIUS satellite radio in the CD holder tray.
Does anyone know any good shops in the area that have either done these kind of mods before? I'm not a handy guy so I would rather pay a professional to get the job done right.
Also, has anyone ever encountered any problems down the road with either of these mods causing slack at the dealer regarding invalidating the MFR's warranty?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

the GoodGuys is a good spot too.

The TSX meet sounds like fun... although I haven't really tweaked out my car. I've been paranoid about voiding my warranty. But maybe it would give me an opportunity to see if anyone else has done a similar mod on their audio system.
BTW. I haven't purchased a SIRIUS radio yet... I figure I would make all of the purchases at once. If you can recommend a unit that fits nicely in the storage compartment, let me know.

I gave SacTown car audio a call but they said they didn't know anything about the SNHOND modification. They said they had their own unit they used to get the same result.
The guy also said that they wouldn't be able to do both a SIRIUS tuner an the Aux audio adapter because having two inputs into the stereo would "blow it up". I assume he didn't mean that the car would blow up. But I don't see why it would cause any problems.
Anyone have any further suggestions?
