Need help deciding, Polk/momo vs. MB Quart
I'm replacing all stock speakers with aftermarket speakers. I'm stuck between polk/momo's or MB Quart Discus series. A friend of mine told me even though the Discus series is their entry level it's still better than Polk/Momo line, pricewise the MB's are like 10% more. Whatever I do choose will be powered by a Alpine amp 75 x 4. Any input to help me decide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I'd be surprised if top of the line Polk speakers were to sound worse than bottom of the line MB Quarts. But I haven't listened to the two sided by side so I can't be sure.

No sub?
I can set you up with a set of DLS UP6 and an Eclipse 10" in a sweet-looking box for that price.
For around $500 you can get those and a set of Genesis 6x9 woofers (on sale).
Or I can set you up with a set of DLS UP6 and a set of Nakamichi 6x9 with silk soft-dome tweeters IF you just HAVE to ruin your front stage...
But I'd get a sub.
