need help with a box, ported, sealed, size??

okay if you dont know already im pretty knew to all this and i have two12's SSA ICON D1/D2 subs.
im looking to put them in a box that is actually made for them.
so now the problem is i have a 99 acura 3.0cl and trunk space isnt all that great.
i want the box to be sealed 1.35 cu.ft
or i'd really like to have ported 2.50 cu.ft if it would fit.

i know absoluetly nothing about building boxes, so if anyone could help it would be a great help. thanks, Zack

okay i looked at doubling the sizes and if i did that it wont fit, i have a small spot in the car where it has to go.
i know a ported box will fit there i just have to find someone with audio brains to design it :/

Where are you trying to keep the box? I've had a 9+ cube external box in the trunk of my 1st gen CL... There's plenty of room in these cars...

5 cubes net will take up most of the trunk, especially rear firing. Are you prepared to give up that much space? I could probably work up a design, but it may take a day or 2.

What are the dimensions of the space you're willing to give up?

the biggest it can be is
33" wide
16" high
and the depth is free rain, my sealed wedge box now is 15" deep and that comes in and out fine.

Eggy- the wedge box i have now is SO close to the optimal sealed box it wouldnt even make a difference
