Hey guys,

I posted this in the second Gen section, but haven;t gotten a decent response there.

If there is anyone familiar with the install on the Avelectronics box, I would appreciate it if you could contact me via PM or email (on my profile).

Basically I did the install, everything seems to be wired correctly (granted I didnt have the manu install instructions, so i could be wrong there). But I am not getting a video signal from the box, nav switches on OK still.

Update:

OK, I am able to get a TV signal (or static since my reception sucks). However, when I attach the DVD player, I get no signal. THe RAC wires are good, the DVD player has been tested on my TV and plays fine.

I currently have the Handbrake wire open. I tried grounding it, but then I didnt get any signal, TV ot DVD. No that it is open, I am getting the TV Signal.

ANother question, is it OK, to get power from the battery terminal, or should I be tapping from the fuse box (ACC power)?
