Need help with Alpine amp....

I have an 2-channel amp Alpine MRV-F1507 powering one sub. I recently blew my sub and replaced it with a brand new sub but still no sound.

I have 3 status indicators on the amp: 1. PROTECTION 2. MUSIC 3.POWER. The protection and music indicators are both green but i have a constant RED light for the Power indicator which should be green when everything is fine. According to the manual it means i have a blown fuse or a poor battery connection. I replaced the fuse and checked the voltage at the amp. Readings were fine, 12.5v with the car off and 14.4v when running.

Pls help!!! –

not sure if the protection circuit has a reset for that amp. possibly your battery and ground wires are crossed. i've done that before becuase i used the same color wire. is your remote turn on wire connected. its the blue wire on the amp that should receive 5 volts from the head unit.
