hi everyone.

I just got my 2003 type s 6 speed a few weeks ago and im very happy with it. the car came with factory navi but the screen/display was cracked an it wasn't working. I ordered a used unit form ebay and hooked it up but now its asking
for a code. I belive I have read every single post about navi
pins where they can be located and how to get the pin but my problem is more of a mission.

to start off. I called acura service and acquired the pin for my 1.current display/screen.
2.the old broken display/screen.
3. the pin to the dvd unit in the trunk
and I have gone to one Honda dealer and two acura dealers
in my area and so far no progress.
no matter what I do I get incorrect pin.
so im about to give up on this and just be grateful that now I have access to the a/c controls from the current display.

any help with be appreciated

oh and the last acura dealer I went to told me they have to ship the navi system for repair and could cost $600-1000
to fix LOL

found the prob...... the 20 times I called acura they been giving me the wrong pin

 

The PIN is tied to the unit in the trunk, so it's tied in to your car. You should be able to get the PIN when you call the dealer with your VIN number.
