Fam,

I replaced the battery in my 03 TL-S and the navigation has needed a code ever since. I've searched the forum and found this link in which to obtain the code, https://radio-navicode.acura.com/.

However, I am unable to find my serial number for my navigation in order to obtain the code. The serial number is not in or on the side of the glove box. I also do not have the original owner's manual. I did look on the back of the navigation unit in the trunk and got the serial number off of it and tried to use it, but I got the message saying that the serial number and VIN didn't match.

What should I do next?? I need your help...

 

what you do is turn key switch to on hold 1 and 6 on stereo and hit the on button on stereo make sure stereo is off first then you will see numbers appear tthose are ur serial number

 

press your map/guide menu and cancel buttons. this will bring you to a diagnostic screen. press the unit info soft key on the screen. there you will find you serial #

 

If non of the above works the serial number is on the bottom of the navi dvd player in the trunk you will need to unscrew 7 screws to see it.
