NAVI Screen Coordinates are OFF!!!

Recently I've noticed that my map screen coordinates are off. When I pass a street and check my screen, my position locator on screen deosn't pass that same street until I'm physically about 25 yrds past that street.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to recalibrate coordinates?

My next move is to disconnect the battery to see if this resets it.

I have a 2006 TSX with an '05 navi system. I converted my non navi to a navi this past Dec. See ink below.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

you can adjust the position of the car if you go in the setup, last menu there's an option to play with the position (rotation/pointing and up/down left/right)

Thanks Type S Zero. I tried that but am able to only rotate left/right not move up or down, left or right.

I really appreciate your response.

Thats just the way it naturally is. The actual position of the car (I find) to be just ahead of the tip of the red arrow. Of course, this is only a noticeable 'problem' at 1/20 mile zoom for me, or maybe 1/8 mile if you're heavily relying on the navi. I usually use it at 1/4 mile and don't have any problems with it.

What distance do you usually keep it set at?

Reach,

Thanks for the reply. You're right, though. I keep mine at 1/20 most of the time. I tried at 1/4 mile and it works better.

Thanks .

I Had the same problem!

I took the cable off the battery for a minimum of 30 seconds to let everything reset. You will need to re-entry your navi & radio codes. The navi takes 10 minutes to locate or reposition your car. Mine works perfect now. Good luck!
