NAVI not working ?
Hey i have a 02 cl-s with navi , it goes to the blue screen that says disc is not installed & please check system , the disc is in there , i've taken it out & cleaned it , still nothing ??
a small piece of the door is broken but it still will close , could that be the problem ?
its just like the plastic piece on the right right at the bottom, like the little spacer inside broke, nothing big, the door still closes , but im thinking thats whats wrong ?

CL navi unit crashing
My 2003 CL navi screen looks like it is finished. The screen image is toast after I start up the engine.
Any recommendations for replacement (short of an $875 replacement!!!)
HELP PLEASE!!!

Try swapping the DVD unit in the rear with someone's that works if you can. Second step (and yes, it's a PITA) is to swap the unit up front but if it's not reading the disc I would say it's your DVD unit. Obviously if the unit swap fixes it I would look for that as a replacement. Also, another troubleshooting technique is to swap your bad one into the friend's car. If the gripe follows then you've found your culprit. Hope this helps.
I just wish I had Navi. I'm trying to research and find where the hell I can pick up a wiring harness for a non Navi to Navi application.

Have you started by taking the dash surround piece off? Use moderate even pressure once you remove the screws. Should expose the screen itself.
At that point send it to me for safe keeping.

Removing Navigation
Actually, thats what I'm looking for instructions on removing the dash surround piece... wasnt sure on whether the two screws were all that was needed becuase there are some connections that are in that panel...
