My "system" build

I have a 1996 RL. I was tired of the horrible sound quality from my line out converter and a tape deck adapter for an Ipod so i found a dash kit. This is just to show that you can have an after market head unit. I did chuck the factory amp and just spliced the wires together for now as im going to be adding an amp for my speakers. Any questions, comments, suggestions feel free to chime in.

Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD
Beatsonic dash kit
2 12inch Pioneer Premiers (these are amazing subs for the price)
3 farad cap
Orbital Purple haze deep cycle
sony xplod 6x9s and the rest of the speakers are factory(but not for long!)

Off to a good start, my buddy has a set of the pioneer comps and they are wicked. I like the dash kit as well, I have the pioneer AVH-P4000DVD and love it so far. What are the future plans?

dash kit looks great. I like it well except for the ratchet strap lol but sliding boxes can be a bish. Maybe a thin piece of rubber matt under the box or a L bracket of some sort would do the job.

Im not sure what my future plans are. I was thinking about putting maybe an Audio Que hdc312 or 15 in it, an amp for the speakers(probably the one running my subs as its a 2 channel bridged right now). If i went the audio que route id be ditching the cap and putting a second deep cycle into it. Im not even sure how long im going to keep this car as ever time i turn around theres something wrong. Yah im not a fan of the strap either but it does the job. Thank you for the compliments!

Looks good.

That looks like one hell of a head unit there. Definately change the rest of those inside speakers though.

Do you recall any issues with the wiring harnesses? Just an adapter harness?
