Newb here about audio/video screens.


Ok.. not for my Acura, but I put a 10.4" screen and seperate dvd player professionally installed today (in our family SUV).

I had to also purchase a rf/modulator.

My question is this. I have to tune my FM audio to 88.1 to hear the audio from the dvd player. Since this is in the 2nd row of our SUV I like for the kids to listen to it, not the wife and I while driving.

The installer said that I can get something called wireless head phones since my dvd player does NOT have phono hookup for head sets.

I was just overlooking the dvd screen manual and it says ""IR wirelss headphone (optional)"". What the heck does this mean?

 

My screen is a XOvision 10.4" and dvd player is a Blaupunkt DVD-ME R
