More bass with stock sub removed?

More bass with stock sub removed?

I have 2 10's in the trunk. will the bass sound better with the stock sub still in or should I take it out.

I should be able to tell you in another month or two once I get my sub installed. Since I can't tell you for sure, I would recommend you do what I plan to do, which is to try it both ways. Of course, if you do it before I get my sub installed and you report back here, that might save me some work. Just kidding. Seriously, try it.

I tried it out both ways and i got funny results. Some types of music the bas was louder with the stock sub still in place and other types of music the bass was louder without the stock sub in. It definately sounds like tighter bass with the sub still in place and therefore I put it back in. Without the sub it sounded more like a ported box rather than a sealed box(I have a sealed enclosure for the record).
