For those of you with tv tuners in the car, which antenna are you using? Can you recommend which brand and where can I get it that performs the best. I have tried three different type of the home "rabbit ears" variety and can only get one channel. Any input would be most appreciated.

 

most tuners use the diversity system (mini-plug connectors), but i prefer to buy a tuner that uses a coax ends because i like the sony antennas. it's ultra thin metal film with 3 arms radiating from a central contact (T shaped) and it goes right onto the front windshield. the kit also includes clear thin plastic arms for use on the rear windshield. it's not cheap at roughly $100 but it's a pretty slick setup. the part number is vca13.

diversity systems allow up to 4 antenna units so reception can be better...coax runs only 1 antenna. then again, reception really depends on the area that is immediately surrounding your vehicle which numerous antennas might not be able to overcome.
