Yo wasup guys...i was wondering...is there anyway of removing that metal bar that goes under the stock sub?....if there is a way with out messing anything up...please let me know...i really wanna replace that sub with a 8inch JL w7...thanksss

 

i have seen a guy put a 10w7 in the stock location... but i dont think that sub will perform well in a free air application..

 

oh i forgot to answer your question.. yes you can remove that bar but you are going to have to find another way to keep the trunk up like using some gas struts...

i believe the user marin was able to eliminate this metal bar and keep the torsion bars so i kno there is a way to do it ne one else have ne ideas on where to reposition that black plastic piece the torsion bars run through??
