Group Buy on XM COMMANDER in not an ashtray

Hey folks, i just got word from one of my suppliers that i can get a group buy on the XM commander that normally retails for 159.00.

ill sell the XM commander for 139.00 along with the unit custom installed in the not an ashtray location for 100.00 (normally 110.00)

ill throw in the shipping charges to your location

total cost is 239.00 installed and shipped to your door. i need 4 people to get it started.

of course you may want to buy the SNhond3 adapter and fabricate the cable or for a little additional ill make the adapter and order the SNHOND3 for you if you pay for it.

who's interested?

BTW, I'm sure I asked this before, but where did you put the antenna on your install? I'm hoping to put it on the rear deck, and hide the wire. Also, you need for us to remove the "not an ashtray" box?

Sounds great! Installed on the trunk? So, you ran the wire for the antenna how? Did you drill a hole in the trunk lid to fish the wire through?

no the antenna is magnetic on the bottom just run the wire along the trunk arm on the left side alongside the factory wires for the brake, turnsignal, license plate lights.(in the black split loom) then under the carpeted panel on the trunk lid. then around the backside of the trunklid to the outside of the lid. then just set the antenna on the trunklid itself.
no holes to drill and you will have about 1/2" of exposed antenna wire on the trunklid that just bends around the lid by the back window and under the lid itself.

Cool! The antenna placement was the last bit of nag for me. (Hmm, quick trip to the car....) Okay I see what you're talking about. Let me know when you need to do the order, also, as I recall from past stuff you've posted, I need the SNHOND3 interface and a couple of line drivers, any advice on where to order them from? I'd like to get the SNHOND3 asap so I can modify it (I know there's a post somewhere that describes how)....

Bass if you put together something that includes line drivers, I might be interested in picking up a line driver.

So, where are we at? Also, should I order the SNHOND3 widget now?

BTW, have an idea on mounting the antenna, I'll show you when I come over to get the unit from you. Starting to get psyched

I'm commited. Do you still need 2 more people to get that special deal? BTW, I hope others realize that is a very good price on the 'commander..... my home phone is 719-495-1059.
